A bit about Georgina M

I am a Primary School teacher who can teach from Reception to Year 6. I specialise in phonics teaching and supporting children to unlock the wonders of reading and writing. I also enjoy watching those ‘light bulb’ moments when a student has finally understood a maths concept they have struggled with. I’m a strong believer that all children learn at their own pace and in their own way. My job as an educator is to find the way your child learns best and tailor their sessions to suit them. I’ve been teaching in Primary schools for over 10 years and during the pandemic all my sessions went online. I’m able to clearly explain concepts to younger children and keep them engaged without being face to face. As I have been teaching for over a decade, I have seen many students in my classroom. My greatest success would be the relationships that I have built with my pupils and the pride I have felt over the years when I have supported children with their learning.
