A bit about Ciarán

I am a highly qualified and experienced tutor with an MPhys in Theoretical Physics from the University of St Andrews. I have over 3 years of experience in tutoring physics and mathematics, both online and in-person. In addition to tutoring, I also hold a research position at the University of Graz in Austria where I specialise in Open Quantum Systems. I am passionate about sharing my knowledge and helping students achieve their academic goals. I look forward to the opportunity to work with you! Having achieved A* Grades in Physics, Maths, and Further Maths at A-level, and more recently graduating with a Master's degree in Theoretical Physics from one of the top programmes in the UK, I am well aware of what it takes to succeed at the highest level. I tailor my approach to the needs of the individual. Generally, I like to work with the student to identify any gaps that there might be in their understanding of a given topic. From there, I work to find an explanation that makes sense to the student and from there consolidate what we have learnt through guided problems and past paper questions.
