I specialise in teaching Mathematics and functional skills. Topics in my completed modules include: Probability, Analysis, Linear Algebra, Ordinary Differential Equations, Mechanics, and Multivariable Calculus and Complex Functions. I have also completed a Social and Developmental Psychology module, looking into social trends, effects of genetic and environmental factors, and atypical development in children. I adapt my lesson plans to the individual needs of my student. Sessions can be focussed on specific topics, functional skills, or practice of multiple topics. The schedule can include an: introductory arithmetic or otherwise suitable warm up exercise, topic specific guided examples, problems for the pupil to try with support, and reflection exercises. If necessary, breaks within sessions can be added, for example with reviews of what has been covered in the session so far or educational games. I started tutoring privately in 2019.
