I can tutor all the Sciences at Key stage 3 level and specialise in Chemistry at GCSE and A Level. I have years of experience teaching these to a very high level at the best-achieving schools in Wales. I am a science graduate who undertook a PGCE in order to bring the passion and technical knowledge I have accumulated through my studies, previous work, and experiences to the classroom. I pride myself on being a conscientious and engaged member of my local community through both club participation and volunteer work, an ethos I seek to apply to school life and encourage in young people. My teaching style is broad and varied and depends on the student I am currently teaching. Whilst there are some aspects of a lesson that I believe are very important (the practice of exam-style questions and building proficiency in new skills in a step-by-step way) I think it is best to get to know the student and design the session based around them.
