A bit about Ahmad A

I first started tutoring two years ago in 2020 both in person and remotely via the internet. I began by giving math lessons and then expanded my services later to include science and language (English and Arabic) lessons. What I love the most about tutoring is seeing my students understand and appreciate the knowledge that has been given to them and thus knowing they can potentially use it in a way that betters their own life and future. Seeing the positive impact I can have on them drives me forward. My name is Ahmad and I have a passion for seeking and disseminating knowledge. I graduated from university over 10 years ago and have had various jobs over the years, the most recent of which has been working as a private tutor. It has been my most favorite of them thus far, and I hope to continue teaching for the rest of my life. My teaching style is a flexible one which depends on the student, their personality and capabilities, and the subject they are trying to learn. It is a hybrid of various styles which include lecturing, coaching, delegating, etc. How much of each style manifests as most prevalent varies from one student to another. I believe that seeking and disseminating knowledge is one of the highest moral values we can embody as human beings. It is not only a responsibility but also a privilege and an honor to be someone who acquires beneficial knowledge and then paves the way for others to do the same to the benefit of themselves and humanity. In addition to my personal beliefs, I remember my own experience at school and how decades later, I can still remember the names of specific teachers who had a great positive impact on my journey of learning about not just about myself and what I can do, but also about the world around me and what I should be prepared for. My interests outside of teaching are quite many, but I'll share two of them. The first is reading because I consider myself a student of knowledge as well, not just a teacher. The topics I read are non-fictional and very diverse. The second is star gazing because I am an astronomy aficionado who likes to admire the majestic beauty of our sky. My greatest success with teaching was watching the transformation of one of my students from feeling dislike towards a subject they were learning to acquiring a newfound love and appreciation for it. As a result, their grade in that subject massively improved and they ultimately decided that they want to study it further. I teach KS3 and KS4 students. I also teach students studying GCSE and A-level subjects for OCR and Edexcel examination. - A Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy and Biotechnology from the German University in Cairo - 8 GCSE and 3 A-level certificates from the Cambridge International Examinations Board
