A bit about Eshaa

I am a passionate and enthusiastic tutor who will strive to be the best I can be. I am an attentive, reliable, and committed individual who will help students turn their weaknesses into strengths! I specialise in Mathematics. I have achieved an A* in GCSE Mathematics and an A in A-Level Mathematics. However, I tutor sciences too as I have done them for Gcse and A level. I would begin my lesson by asking my student about their day to make them feel comfortable to interact with me. Then, I would ask what topic they are struggling the most in/would like to work on today and I will bring up my powerpoint slides up to guide them. After, we would go through some past exam papers for some practice and mark them together. If I see any mistakes or can see a clear topic that the student is struggling on consistently, I will make note, and revise over it with the student in the next session by focusing on that particular topic. Usually at the end of a session, I would ask the student what they would like to work on in the next session so that I can plan out the lesson in more detail, catered towards the student. I have been tutoring for 4 years. Since 2019, teaching Maths and English to students aged 4-16. During lockdown, we moved the platform online where I became comfortable with understanding how to teach remotely. The thing I love the most about tutoring is seeing my students improving and starting to enjoy their subject. I love interacting with my students and helping them become comfortable and confident in what they are learning! I teach KS2, KS3, 11+ and GCSE (any exam boards) The feeling of helping someone become confident in a subject they love, makes teaching feel very rewarding and uplifting !
