A bit about Priya M

I am a secondary school science teacher and examiner with a masters in science degree from King's College London. I am currently educating pupils aged 12-18 at a school in London. I specialise in Biochemistry. My degree involved a final year project based on female health and reproduction and the endocrine system, thus I resonate more with being a biologist. As a secondary school teacher, I know that every pupil is different and requires different teaching techniques to progress in their learning. Thus, my lesson plan will be tailored to your needs; what is it you need to work on to reach your academic goal - whether it be applying different exam techniques or understanding and applying content to a given scenario, I will support you. One thing my students at my school love about my teaching style is that I adapt my teaching style based on your strengths and areas of development. I am also known to be patient, resilient, and approachable. My teaching style is inspired by Rosenshine's principles and using an I do, we do, you do approach to ensure pupils are aware of what your examiner will be looking for, what exact steps you need to get there, and of course, plenty of opportunities to put that into practice to refine your approach.
