As a college teacher, every year is exam year for all of my students and I am used to covering the whole Foundation GCSE syllabus each academic year. I am calm and patient and my goal is to simplify maths and build confidence. I have extensive experience and a clear understanding of the Foundation GCSE curriculum and know what students need to focus on to get the best results. I check prior knowledge, correct misconceptions and fill in the gaps with a focus on exam techniques. I am experienced with both AQA and Edexcel exam boards and have recently been accepted as an examiner for Edexcel. I have worked closely with Learning Support and have experience working with SEN students. I have also sucessfully worked with adult learners who have often spent many years out of the classroom and need to start again with the basics.
