A bit about Dana

FREE, no obligation, 30 minutes taster lessons offered. I have over 4000 hours experience teaching Mathematics (all modules) and Economics up to A-Level. I am a former Economics and Business department lead at a leading British International School and currently work as a consultant supporting Maths departments across the UK. Lesson structures will vary depending on the needs and goals of the students. A typical session will involve a diagnostic task identifying key misconceptions, developing the required skills with the student. More complex problem solving techniques are modelled and the student is provided with an opportunity to practice. I've been tutoring for nearly ten years, and teaching in classrooms for seven. I have taught students of all abilities across state, private and international school settings. Identifying and supporting students overcome key misconceptions and supporting their confidence in order to tackle the most challenging of problems! Of course, seeing their excellent results too! I am a keen chess and snooker player and a lifelong Manchester United supporter! I have taught students sitting exams with Pearson, AQA, OCR and Cambridge International. I teach students from age 11 up to university level.
