A bit about David B

My experience lies mainly with the International Baccalaureate, having taught and examined English, Theatre and Theory of Knowledge for 30 years. I place the learner at the heart of the Process, of gaining knowledge and building confidence. Content is important, but in tandem with learning skills and concepts. I help young people develop resilience, and the type of research and study skills that will guide their futures studies. BA English (Oxford University) MA in Shakespeare Studies (University of Birmingham) MA in Theatre and Production (Rose Bruford/University of Manchester) My area of specialisation is theatre and drama, particularly Elizabethan stage practice and dramatists. I have knowledge and experience of practical theatre too, having staged many productions and taken some to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
