A bit about Louise H

I am an active mother of two teenage boys. I enjoy meeting people and keeping fit by attending regular HIIT classes, running and paddle-boarding. I trained to be a teacher in 2016/17 after many years as a Physics technician and Electrical Engineer. I have taught at three schools and been an NVQ assessor and electrical tutor for Network Rail. I have tutored locally fore a few years and get many compliments from students and their parents. I am a Physics specialist with a Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. I enjoy my subject and have many methods to achieve an understanding of the difficult concepts required in this subject. I really enjoy being able to focus on the needs and abilities of individual students to get the best out of them. I was inspired to become a Physics teacher after I had my children and realised how under represented women are in this subject. I thought back to my studies and wanted to change the attitude of girls to this exciting subject.
