A bit about Sheela

I am a qualified teacher of Mathematics. I have over 25 years of experience in teaching Mathematics. I enjoy teaching Maths and helping students to achieve their target grades. I hold an Honours degree in Mathematics and a postgraduate degree in Education. One of my additional areas of interest is English language at GCSE and I have extensive experience in teaching English. I have helped many students to improve their grades in GCSE English language-this includes students whose first language is English as well as students for whom English is a second/foreign language. I specialise in Maths. I have over 25 years of experience in teaching Mathematics at GCSE and beyond.Over the years I,have worked as teacher,lecturer,coach and online tutor in Mathematics. I am also experienced in teaching English language at GCSE. I started tutoring in 1990 . Since then, I have worked in educational institutions in various capacities - as Tutor, Class teacher, lecturer and coach. I have experience of teaching students with vastly varying abilities, targets and ambitions. Over the years, I have helped many students to achieve their target grades in GCSE Maths as well as English and their success is what inspires and motivates me. I hold an Honours degree in Mathematics and a Masters degree in Education with a postgraduate certificate in TESOL(teaching English to speakers of other languages) I have Qualified teacher status and over 25 years of experience in Education.
