A bit about Fardin S

I have a degree in Computing and Information Systems and I am currently teaching computer science at GCSE and A-Level. I have been teaching computer science for the last ten years and I have been an examiner for several exam boards for at least nine years. I have a good understanding of how students learn, the difficulties they encounter with exam questions, problem-solving as well as revision. I am very passionate about my subject and I am highly driven in motivating students to be successful. I do this by identifying areas for development, consider strategies to close the gap and I focus on improving their confidence. In addition, I try to use a variety of resources such as my own website and various interactive resources to get the content across. I feel programming is an area that requires constant input and using an interactive environment is certainly beneficial. I’m a very patient teacher; I communicate well with all ages and levels and make complex information understandable for them. I feel tutoring sessions be engaging and the way I approach this is by identifying areas for development, consider strategies to close the gap and I focus on improving their confidence. In addition, I try to use a variety of resources such as my own website and various interactive resources to get the content across. I first started to tutor in 2016 focusing on the OCR specification and the GCSE level. I have always enjoyed together and it has been quite rewarding. I try and mainly do tutoring online as I feel it is more efficient and you can work collaboratively on tasks. I am very passionate about my subject and I am highly driven in motivating students to be successful in computer science and IT. I like to keep my knowledge up to date and when I get an opportunity I do courses online as well as improving my knowledge of personal finance and investing.
