Hi there! I'm Meghan, a seasoned Mathematics Teacher, Department Head, and Examiner with AQA and EdExcel, with a passion for unveiling the beauty and power of numbers. For the past 10 years, I've been committed to creating exciting learning experiences for KS3 and GCSE students. I believe in the transformative power of education and am dedicated to inspiring students to conquer their mathematical challenges and realize their full potential. Math is more than just numbers—it's a universal language that uncovers the secrets of our world. My teaching approach is designed to help students not only master this language but also discover the magic within it and their own unique abilities. I have been an Examiner for GCSE Maths with both EdExcel and AQA since 2018, ensuring consistent grading and providing crucial feedback on common misconceptions. I've spent the last 10 years instructing KS3 and GCSE Maths, fostering a deep understanding of mathematical concepts and boosting students' confidence in their abilities. I hold an Honours Bachelor of Mathematics with a minor in Computer Science from the University of Waterloo, and a Bachelor of Education specializing in special educational needs from Queen's University. Furthermore, I am a certified teacher in the United Kingdom, Ontario, and British Columbia, reflecting my diverse teaching experiences and adaptability to different educational systems.
