A bit about Yunxin

I've just graduated with my master's degree in Data Science recently, with approximately two years of tutoring experience. In the past, I have taught Math to primary and secondary school students in Hong Kong, catering to students of all skill levels, including individual students and small groups of 4-5 students. During exam periods, I provided exam preparation services for mid-term exams and successfully helped 8-10 students improve their exam grades by 20-30 marks. Additionally, I have around one year of experience teaching A-level and GCSE maths on a one-on-one basis, 90% of the students that I've worked with were able to get at least grade 7 in their GCSE maths exams and A grades in their A-level math exams. I specialise in teaching math, KS3, GCSE and A-level students. What I love most about teaching my subject is witnessing the "aha" moments when students grasp a concept or solve a problem on their own. It's incredibly rewarding to see their confidence grow and their enthusiasm for the subject deepen as they realise their own potential. Being able to inspire and empower students to overcome challenges and succeed in math brings me great joy and fulfilment. My teaching style is student-centred and tailored to the individual needs of each student. I believe in creating a supportive and interactive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and actively participating in the learning process. Additionally, I regularly assess student progress and adjust my teaching approach accordingly to ensure their continuous improvement and success. I teach year 7-13 students with exam boards Edexcel, AQA, OCR, CIE and International Edexcel.
