A bit about Hannah M

I have a degree in history and a specialism in Early Modern Studies. I particularly love the Tudors, Stuarts and the English Civil War. However, I love all history and have taught a range of topics at GCSE and ALevel, including Weimar Germany, The Cold War, Civil Rights in the USA, The interwar period and Medicine though time. I am a qualified history teacher and senior leader working in a large MAT. I have over 10 years experience in designing and delivering history curricula from Key Stage 3 to Key stage 5. As well as teaching in the classroom, I have also been an examiner for AQA history. I have a real passion for sharing my love of history with my students. My teaching style is about working out what you are struggling with and what your misconceptions are, and tackling those! I use lots of questions to probe my students understanding. I am really good at explaining difficult concepts to students, and have some really helpful ways to structure essays. However, I believe its key to find out what you've been taught in school/college regarding essay/question structures and work with that too - I aim to help, not confuse you!
