A bit about James S

Born in West Yorkshire. In 2001 passed with a Distinction a Hnd in Software Engineering, and started GNVQ ICT lecturing the following year, while completing a PGCE in education. Followed by TEFL and MTA qualifications. Over the last 22 years I've taught various subjects (ICT, Maths and English), at various levels (GCSE, GNVQ, MTA, AVCE, Hnd), both face-to-face and online. I've taught various subjects (ICT, Maths, and English), over the last 22 years. But I mostly specialise in TEFL (Teaching English as a foreign language) and ICT (Database Design, Systems Analysis). Back in September of 2001 the very College where I passed my Hnd offered me a job as a GNVQ ICT lecturer teaching various modules including Hardware Basics, Excel, Database Design, Access and Programming. I believe in keeping it as simple as possible, starting with a general overview followed by practical exercises, and discussions, to bed it in. My MTA courses in Networking and Programming had a 100% pass rate with all par one student achieving over 80% in the two exams.
