A bit about Emmanuel

Hello! My name is Iyamah Emmanuel, and I'm from Abuja, Nigeria. I specialize in Cambridge GCSE/IGCSE, O-Level, AQA, IB and A-Level Physics and Mathematics. In every lesson, I always ensure that there are clearly stated objectives, success criteria, engaging learning activities and reflective evaluations. I started my teaching and tutoring career in 2011. Ever since, I have been tutoring various categories of students from different backgrounds. What I love most about teaching physics and Math is that it makes me feel fulfilled whenever I'm guiding learners into understanding and exploring their physical environments. Throughout my career, I have always strived to make learning fun for my students while still ensuring that they are getting a quality education. I feel a great sense of joy when I see my students grow and develop in mathematical and scientific skills which are required to outstandingly succeed in the dynamic global society. I believe that it is important to teach children how to learn rather than just what to learn. I have always strived to motivate students to learn how to answer their questions. I do this through use of educative video clips, sometimes simulations, and engaging and creative hands-on activities. One of the things that makes me such a good teacher is my ability to connect with students on a personal level. I have a Bachelor degree in Physics and Education, and I'm also Cambridge IGCSE Physics Certified. Aside my love to always be around children for great impart, I was exceptionally influenced by my students. During my teaching practice in a high school, I often find out that my students prefer me to their regular teachers. I was able to make difficult concepts simple for them and they are always happy for their better understanding and academic performances. And as often as I receive fantastic feedbacks from them, I feel so great. This brought me into teaching profession. Aside teaching, I loving biking, playing volleyball, video games and musical instruments such as pianos and drums. I exceptionally enjoy meeting people. I teach Cambridge GCSE/IGCSE, O-Level, AQA, IB and A-Level Physics and Mathematics for all ages.
