A bit about Brent H

I have a proven track record with a 100% pass rate for my online students, many of whom have improved their mock exam grades by more than 2 levels and I am a fully qualified, DBS-checked teacher with over fifteen years of experience in teaching, examining, and moderating GCSE English Language and English Literature, in UK secondary schools and FE colleges. I also mentor and support vulnerable students for a local authority. I continue to work two days a week in school to continue to engage with pupils face to face and continually improve my practise and continue to grow as a teacher. . I help anxious or reluctant students by simplifying exam structures and clarifying what they need to do to pass. I believe that many students over complicate their answers to exam questions and I help them become more confident and then produce more effective answers that will give them better grades from examiners. However, I will also push students to achieve the very best grades they can get! I specialise in AQA and EDUCAS EDEXCEL and iGCSE at KS3 and Year 11 exam preparation is my speciality.
