A bit about Safa

I am currently an undergraduate student pursuing my Masters in Pharmacy and have been tutoring science for a few years now. I completed my triple Science award at GCSE level achieving 3 A*s, followed by Biology and Chemistry at A-level. I have a great understanding of both the GSCE and A-level examinations for various exam boards, along with knowledge of the necessary steps students should take to maximise their learning. I am able to help students succeed in understanding difficult content and can therefore enhance their overall academic performance ✅ Year 7-9 - KS3 science - National UK curriculum ✅ Year 10-11 - AQA, EDEXCEL, OCR - Combined & triple science ( Chemistry, Biology and Physics) ✅ Year 12-13 - AQA, EDEXCEL, OCR ( Biology and Chemistry only) I always tailor my lessons to suit the preferences and learning style of my students. At the end of the lesson, students can pick the topic they would like to cover next. Whilst curating the lesson plan for the chosen topic, i take into account the students abilities and learning preferences ( diagrams, mnemonics etc). Generally, I include quizzes / tasks throughout the lesson to check for understanding and to retain the student's attention by keeping them engaged. Towards the end, the lesson is concluded with exam style questions on an interactive whiteboard ( particularly for GCSE and A-level students). This provides an opportunity for students to apply their new knowledge, highlight their understanding and or identity any gaps in their comprehension. I first started tutoring 3 years ago, this includes a combination of in person and online tutoring. As of the last year, I have been mainly working online to create and present more personalised lesson tailored to my students abilities and subjects, this includes working with students of varying ages and learning level.
