A bit about Fatema H

I am a determined, motivated and enthusiastic individual, and I believe that every young person is capable of success. I seek to empower young individuals with the self-belief, skills and knowledge they need in order to achieve their full potential. I am passionate about transforming the lives of young people, especially through supporting them in their individual needs. I endeavour to positively impact a great number of young people’s life chances and experiences. I have two years teaching experience teaching KS3 and KS4 English Language and English Literature, both in the classroom and online. I also have experience in making English more accessible to students with SEND, as well as teaching English as a second language to EAL learners. I work with students to discover both their strengths and areas for improvement. This allows me to assist them in building on their existing skills, whilst also then targeting and addressing any gaps and specific learning needs they may have. I feel it is important for students to be able to recognise what examiners will be looking for, and so I also make extensive use of models and exam mark schemes.
