A bit about Bethany S

I teach GCSE, iGCSE, and A-Level. I cover all exam boards and have all specifications and learning materials specific to each syllabus. I have a BSc in Biomedical Sciences from UCL. I have a Masters in Cellular Biosciences from UCL. I have a second Masters in Molecular and Cellular Basis of Infection from Imperial College London. I am in the process of writing my PhD thesis at Imperial College London. I love giving over information. I love seeing the lightbulb moment; the relief that is evident when a student finally understand something. I love being able to help the student achieve that. The teaching style depends on the student. I sometimes teach just content. Often I find it beneficial to also go through questions within the lesson to ensure the student fully understands and can apply the knowledge they've acquired during the lesson. I always give a summary of what we've learnt and often ask them to repeat back to me what they've understood so I can tweak my teaching style to suit their needs.
