A bit about Linda B

I am a French native speaker with a love for languages, learning two new ones while teaching (to put myself into my learner's shoes). I have more than 20 years experience teaching French in an FE college in London, 8 years in a primary school (as a French and Spanish visiting Tutor) and as a private tutor. I like getting my learners to understand what they are doing, so the discovery method is the one I use most of the time. By leading learners to the right answer not only makes them proud of themselves but it also makes them remember it better. I also consider that lessons should be interesting, fun and with lots of practice. I love sharing my knowledge of languages and how best to learn them. I also love it when my learners manage to have a conversation with each other or with me. I am also really pleased when I see children I had previously taught who are proud to tell me that they are the best in French/ Spanish in their new secondary school.
