I have a double first degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Oxford and 6 years experience tutoring students at KS2, GCSE and A Level and working with Oxbridge applicants on their personal statements, interview skills and entrance exam preparation.

I love working with students on their analytical and argumentative skill sets to boost their confidence as learners and help them achieve their academic goals.

I like to adapt my lessons to my students' needs and goals. In the past when I have worked with GCSE and A Level students, I have focused on practice paper questions, essay writing skills (looking at structure, argument, and analytical basis) and practical criticism skill sets when responding to unseen poetry and prose.
