A bit about Yuri M

My expertise covers Maths and Physics tutoring. I aim at teaching these subjects through simple words, making sure that the students are thinking in the right framework, instead of just learning the formulas. This is why I enjoy designing specific questions to generate the correct understanding of the problem. From 2019 to 2021 I achieved 10/10 (equivalent to A*) in both Maths and Physics, obtaining a grade of 100 cum laude/100 (equivalent to A*A*A*) in the final Exam (Italian system). My lessons prioritize the specific needs of each student through flexibility and a student-centered approach. I begin with an introduction, followed by a breakdown of main concepts, using practical examples to enhance understanding. Student interaction is encouraged through discussions, problem-solving, or Q&A sessions. This comprehensive approach ensures that students not only grasp the material but also gain practical insights and skills. I started tutoring during my high school years, from the third year until the fifth year, both in my school and online. I have delivered lectures in both Mathematics and Physics. I'm eager to apply my experience at Sherpa Online Tutoring to benefit students. I have a genuine passion for sharing the knowledge I've accumulated throughout my years of education. What I love most about teaching my subject is witnessing that knowledge being passed on and reflected in my students. It's incredibly rewarding to see students grasp concepts, develop their skills, and apply what they've learned to real-world situations.
