A bit about Omar

I first started tutoring maths and science as a subject tutor in high school and continued this by working at an EdTech start-up during my time at LSE, writing lessons and tutoring students online. It is extremely gratifying to see my students improve lesson by lesson, and I take every single one of my students extremely seriously My teaching philosophy focuses on mastery. Many students falsely believe they are 'bad' at a subject because they are forced to learn advanced concepts before grasping the foundations upon which those concepts are based! Through mastery, spaced repetition, and elaborative encoding in both my lessons and homework, I am confident all students will see huge improvements in their studies, all while having fun! I love to act, dance, and play basketball!
