A bit about Milind M

I am Masters Student in Data Science from the University of Birmingham. I've embraced my passion for teaching by becoming a tutor. I have previously tutored students from primary to high school level in Maths, English and Social Sciences. My focus areas include: Maths (Primary to KS3) English (Primary to GCSE) Geography (Primary to KS3) Science, and History. I'm all about sparking curiosity and building confidence in my students. My aim? To help them not only grasp challenging concepts but also feel ready to conquer any exam! I further aspire to boost their confidence levels in problem solving which is essential for any academic journey and beyond. I have a dynamic teaching style that brings excitement to learning across subjects. I aim to create a positive and engaging learning environment where active participation is encouraged. We'll collaborate to grasp key concepts and explore their practical applications. By breaking down complex ideas into understandable parts, I help students develop a deeper understanding of the subject matter. I value individual learning preferences and adapt my teaching approach accordingly, ensuring that each student can learn at their own pace. Ultimately, my goal is to foster not only subject-specific knowledge but also critical thinking and problem-solving skills that extend beyond the classroom. 4+ Years of work experience as a Software Engineer CEFR C2 level of English Proficiency Masters Degree in Data Science from University of Birmingham Bachelors degree in Information technology. Beyond academics, I deeply believe in the importance of accessible education for all. Learning shouldn't be limited to the privileged few, and I'm committed to fostering an inclusive environment for knowledge sharing. Passionate about Tech and History, I find them enthralling and full of captivating stories. History's narratives of civilisations have my mind constantly exploring. I'm an avid programmer and have a passion for Street photography ! I usually plan out my lessons in the form of Activities with different time limits. During these activities I try to engage and collaborate with the student on different tasks. Each activity is accompanied with a continuous assessment. Towards the end of a lesson I usually conduct reflection and assign homework based on what was taught!
