I have a received a 2.1 undergraduate degree in BA Hons English Language and Linguistics, and have tutored for the last 3 years, which means I am the perfect candidate to bring passion, expertise, and a personalised approach to each tutoring session. During completing exams throughout my time in education, using key revision techniques helped me achieve the highest grades. My aim is to pass on my tips and knowledge to help others succeed. With help from revision timetables and fun revision, exam stress decreased. This helped me when applying to universities, as I received unconditional offers for all of my choices. I have experience tutoring KS2, KS3, and working as a Drama teaching assistant, I believe I have the skills to create a successful learning environment for students. My teaching style consists of keeping the students engaged through differentiated activities and personalised learning. Students have different ways of studying, and it is my job to centre teaching around their least understood topics. By understanding their unique strengths, weaknesses, and learning styles, I am able to tailor my lessons accordingly. I can help students improve grades and confidence by encouraging responsibility, offering positive praise, and inspiring them to enjoy learning as much as I enjoy teaching. I find the best learning techniques are repetitive learning, practise testing, and sparking imagination through elaborative interrogation.
