A bit about Jadé

I am currently a primary school teacher with a great love for children and young people. Nothing is better then seeing them constantly growing and developing. I have done PPA cover from Reception to Year 6 so I have a range of experience throughout the Year groups. I specialise in Primary education from Reception to Year 6. I will usually assess where the child is and go from there, making sure to address misconceptions along the way. I starting tutoring about 1 year ago. I have been teaching for 4 years. Definitely seeing the continued progress of the children, especially seeing their confidence grow. My turn, our turn, your turn. It is important that my students feel confident enough to work independently. Definitely the individual relationships you can build compared to being in a classroom setting. All I ask is you try. I don’t care if it’s wrong, we’ll make it right together :) The fact that they are able to grow more independent and they are not afraid to make mistakes. I think the transition between Reception and Year 1 is so difficult. There really is nothing like seeing a child with little to no phonics skills transform and become confident readers. QTS qualified teacher. My love for children and young people definitely. I love spending time with my family, travelling and exploring. I’m definitely an adrenaline junkie so skydiving is on my list of things to do! Reception to Year 6
