A bit about Rehana A

Seeing the increase in confidence my students have after their lessons with maths. I love hearing how they look forward to going to maths lessons at school now, they themselves can see the progress they are making. I can adapt quickly! If one method of teaching a topic isn’t working for the student I have alternatives up my sleeve. Always teaching for understanding. Never make the student feel guilty for not understanding, my role is to figure out how you learn best and teach in that style. BSC Economics 2015 PGCE Mathematics 2016 Have been teaching KS3/KS4 full time since completing PGCE. I am very flexible, from my years of experience in mainstream secondary schools I know first hand that one method of teaching does not fit all. My teaching style will be dictated by what works best for you. Some students require a real life example in order for a topic to make sense, some require prompting, some students thrive from being given a question and being allowed to break it down themselves whereas others may need a discussion before attempting. It is my responsibility as the teacher to gauge what works best for you and implement that style in my teaching.
