Being a very approachable, friendly person who really appreciates and enjoys interacting with and listening to my students, I am excited by the possibility of teaching you. It's a real joy for me when I'm sharing my knowledge of English and I'm especially delighted when there are those "aha" moments of understanding and insight that my students experience! In addition to teaching in private and state secondary schools in England, my profession, over the course of 30 years has taken me to four countries on three continents where I've had the pleasure of teaching school students from a vast number of nationalities and cultures. My teaching abroad has been in British schools. I have also taught for a few years in South Africa where, apart from teaching English as my main specialism, I learned and taught Zulu as a second language.
