Just over 20 years ago and haven't looked back since.

I am not only a seasoned educator with a wealth of experience, but I am also a dedicated Education Consultant which means I work nationally with Ofsted and the Department for Education, which underscores the effectiveness of my teaching methods. My teaching journey spans from supporting 5-year-olds to university-level master's students, and I have meticulously designed support which is tailored to each student's unique needs. My role as an Examiner for KS2, GCSE, and A-Level exams has granted me invaluable insights into a diverse range of exam boards, and I actively contribute to university-based assessment panels. In addition to my work as an educator, I have nurtured the growth of countless students in one-on-one and small group settings, including those who are homeschooled. Furthermore, I'm currently pursuing a PhD at Kings College London, reflecting my unwavering commitment to lifelong learning. My academic background extends to a Bachelors degree in Psychology, a Master's degree in Health Psychology and a further Master's degree in Education, equipping me with a versatile skill set that I bring to every lesson. While my specialisation lies in Psychology, I approach teaching across various subjects with equal enthusiasm, resulting in an impressive track record of students surpassing their minimum target grades, many achieving their aspirational goals. I have taught in diverse educational settings, including primary and secondary schools, independent and state schools, Further and Higher Education, and I've catered to individuals of all abilities and backgrounds, including those with special educational needs or for whom English is a second language. My favorite thing about being a tutor is witnessing the transformative power of education firsthand. It's incredibly rewarding to see my students grow, gain confidence, and grasp complex concepts that were once challenging for them. As a tutor, I get to be a part of their journey toward success, and there's no greater satisfaction than knowing I've played a role in helping them achieve their academic goals. The one-on-one interactions with students allow me to tailor my teaching methods to their unique learning styles and needs, making each session a dynamic and personalised experience. Ultimately, being a tutor allows me to make a positive impact on the lives of my students, and that is what I cherish most about my role.
