A bit about Henna Z

I am currently working as a Law lecturer at three different universities in London. I hаve а teаching experience оf 10 years. I teach Law (Alevel-degree level), Maths, English and 11+ as a private tutor (KS2,KS3,KS4, GCSE). I currently teach AQA, Pearson Edexcel, EDUQAS and OCR exam specifications. I also offer tutoring for 11 plus (English, Maths, VR and NVR) and SATS prep, having a proven success rate in both exams. I have a friendly and easy going demeanour which my students find very comfortable. I understand that teaching requires patience and some resilience and my students as per their reviews claim that I possess both. I have home schooled various students, and taught them through the KS3 stage through to GCSE / A Level exams. Proven track record of students achieving their desired grades. In order to make the subject interesting, I teach students through different techniques. I have a friendly and easy going demeanour which my students find very comfortable. I understand that teaching requires patience and some resilience and my students as per their reviews claim that I possess both. I’m a Law lecturer by profession and a Fellow at Higher Education Authority. I usually plan my lessons according to the student’s requirements. For example, if my student understands a certain topic but they struggle with different types of exam questions, I’ll prepare some problem questions (for law for instance) for them and discuss those through the lessons and prepare a markscheme for them in order to show them how to improve their answer. If the student has no previous knowledge of the topic then I’ll go through the topic, use PowerPoint slides, short activities and after completion of the topic, I’d practice past exam papers to consolidate their learning. 10 years ago
