A bit about Afshin J

I have two masters in Mathematics and two degrees, with at least eleven years experience of tutoring and lecturing Maths: 1. MSc in Mathematical Logic & The Theory of Computation (Manchester University). 2. MA in Pure Mathematics (Edinburgh University). 3. BSc Civil Engineering (Kashan University). In terms of teaching style, my focus is on students understanding the concepts and as a result, being able to do well on exams and answer both seen and “unseen” questions with confidence. I help my students build up their confidence and be able to think and solve problems independently. I give my students problem sheets to complete every week to gain a clear understanding of their progress. Being friendly and having a sense of humor are my characteristics.
