Have two degrees in Media & English. Deliver engaging and fun lessons.
You can book a free 20 minute, no-commitment introduction with any of our tutors. How does this work?
I specialise in English, Film and Media studies. I have worked as a lecturer, tutor and programme leader for four years. I specialise in GCSE English Language & Literature. From Level 1 (Functional Skills), through Level 2 (GCSE) and even onto Level 3-6 (A Level to Degree).
My teaching style is enthusiastic and well informed. For English I choose relevant and varied texts to help improve language analysis and SPaG skills. Really enjoy creating things so both media and creative writing are big interests. I mix discussion, quizzes, and writing and reading exercises in a way that does seem to engage my learners and drive them towards success.
I love the creative arts, I have just completed my first collection of short stories and used to make videos and short films. This professional experience has added to my teaching style which is described as enthusiastic and passionate.
I have taught City & Guilds (E3-Level 2) AQA and Edexcel (GCSE Level 2) Ascentis (AS/A Level 3) HE Levels (4-6) Accredited by Lancaster University
