I specialise in teaching Mathematics and Science across all levels up to A-Levels, as these subjects have always piqued my interest and ignited a fervent passion within me. My deep-seated enthusiasm for these subjects propelled me towards a career as a Structural Engineer. With a solid foundation and professional experience in these fields, I am well-equipped to impart a rich, comprehensive understanding to my students. My teaching approach is not only aimed at achieving academic excellence but also at inspiring a genuine appreciation for the logical and scientific inquiries that drive the realms of Mathematics and Science. I plan my lessons by first understanding the unique learning goals and needs of each student. I then curate a personalised curriculum that aligns with their academic objectives while also challenging them to stretch their understanding. Before each lesson, I prepare a clear agenda and gather relevant materials to ensure a structured yet engaging learning experience. My lesson plans are flexible and are adapted based on the progress and feedback from the students, ensuring that every session is effective and resonates with them. I started on my tutoring journey from a young age, stemming from my upbringing in a large family. I naturally assumed the role of a tutor to my siblings and nephews assisting them in overcoming their academic hurdles. Moreover, my willingness to help extended to friends who sought clarity in their studies. This early exposure to tutoring not only honed my ability to explain complex concepts in an understandable manner but also ignited a passion for educational mentorship that continues to drive my tutoring endeavors today. I cherish the moment when a challenging concept suddenly clicks for a student, and the ensuing glow of understanding and achievement on their faces. It's a beautiful reminder of the transformative power of learning and the privilege I have to contribute to that journey. My favorite thing about tutoring is the personal connection I build with students, witnessing their growth firsthand, and celebrating their achievements together as they unlock new levels of understanding and confidence in their abilities. The greatest success I've experienced in teaching is seeing a student who once struggled with self doubt and understanding, evolve into a confident and curious learner, achieving grades beyond their expectations and developing a genuine love for the subject.
