I have been tutoring GCSE, A Level and Degree Level Literature and Language for a number of years with excellent results. I am experienced with the majority of exam boards. I have A Levels In English Language & Literature, a BA (hons) in English and an MSC in Psycho-Social Studies. I have professional training in teaching GCSE and have had a career trajectory that has involved having an understanding of different learning styles. I have certificates in TEFL Teaching and in Training Trainers. My students have demonstrated significant success. During the last year I was overjoyed to see students achieve their goals and excel beyond their predicted grades. All my students achieved their target grade and improved between 1 and 3 grades from their predictions. I love working with new students and find the student-teacher relationship to be really important. I am able to motivate, encourage and help people feel at ease. The main goal is always how best you can achieve your goals, improve your skills and hopefully enjoy the process. I can be adaptable in my approach in order to find the best way to support understanding and improve practical skills such as writing and analysis.
