A bit about Stuart W

I am a very experienced tutor and lecturer at college and university both here and overseas. I have also acted at senior board level in companies as a member of the board of directors and as a consultant. I have a PGCE for Post 16 students. I also have a research and publishing record. I started tutoring in 2007. So far I have had over 300 tutees up to 2023. They have been manly trying to improve the grades in assessed subjects. However, from time to time I have supervised research degrees, various students and taught at various levels,from basic maths and physics through to research projects. I like to respond to what the person wants to achieve, and take the context and structure of what is required for the particular subject and level of that requirement. I mainly teach mathematics and physics, but I have some experience with computer science and analysis for organisations. I would say that 90% of my students ask for either mathematics or physics help. They often reuire further help with examinations (increasing projected grades). Understanding particular topics or areas so that tey can answer questions or for correcting and advising of thier understanding.
