A bit about Rakshitha

I am currently studying an MSc in Finance in Queen's University, Belfast. My background is basically accounting and finance. I am also a professional level ACCA student. I have always had an interest in Mathematics. I love numbers and working with them. I am also interested in teaching Science. I think I can connect very well with young students and help them with resolving any confusions they have. My lessons usually pan out with the outline of the topic initially, followed by a detailed explanation of the sub-topics, and trying my best to explain practically as that is easier to understand. I started tutoring kids from my neighborhood 2 years ago, and this approach has always worked. The students can definitely reach out to me if they have any doubts and I will be more than happy to help. The specialization of my current qualification is Finance. I specialized in International Accounting and Finance in my Bachelor's degree. My background is in the field of commerce as I studied, Accountancy, Economics, Business Math and Business Studies for my A-levels equivalent. I had secured 96 in Mathematics in 10th grade (equivalent to GCSE level) and 100 in Basic Math ( mostly commercial math) in 12th grade (equivalent to A-levels). My teaching style is very student oriented, as in it focuses on where a student is facing difficulty with understanding and simplifying that area, more than the notes or lessons I have prepared. My ultimate goal is to familiarize students with all the topics without it being a big task for them.
