When did you first start tutoring?
** Tuesday & Wednesday evening slot available** I have over 20 years teaching experience within a variety of settings. For the first 18 years of my career I specialised teaching English literature and language. I have taught students from Year 5 focusing on literacy skills and 11+ exam, through to GCSE and onto to A-levels. I am an exam marker for AQA English Literature and Language. For the last four years I have devoted my practice to helping students with SEN, mainly Autism, to access education. My teaching style varies depending on the student's individual needs and i often use a hybrid approach- coaching, facilitating and demonstrating. I have been an online tutor for the last 10 years and have helped students achieve their goals. I am very proud of how my students have progressed and look forward to helping others.
