A bit about Tyisha

My name is Tyisha and I am currently a computer science student at a top 15 university in the UK. I am also a student who achieved all 9s/A* in my GCSEs. I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and share my passion for tutoring. I have always been deeply enthusiastic about helping others succeed in their educational journey. Over the years, I've had the privilege of assisting students in various subjects, and I'm dedicated to creating a comfortable and effective learning environment. I have recently finished my GCSEs, therefore, I know the specification for the subject really well which would be very beneficial when it comes to tutoring. I teach Chemistry, Maths, Biology, Further Maths and Physics at GCSE Level and below. I work by covering the contents of the specific topics the student is struggling with and work through past exam questions to ensure they fully understand the topic. I have had plenty of experience in tutoring GCSE students (2 years) as well as working with young children (KS3) hence I can easily adapt to each student to ensure they feel comfortable enough to ask questions and comprehend the topics. Witnessing students grow and gain confidence in a subject brings me a deep sense of fulfillment. It is truly rewarding to see their progress and the positive impact that tutoring can have on their academic lives.
