I have 12 years post-graduate experience teaching mainstream primary aged children as well as 4 years’ experience teaching children with complex learning and medical needs in a specialist SEND school. I have been tutoring pupils privately in their homes and online since 2017. I enjoy tutoring pupils 1.1 and love to see the progress that they make over time. I have a joyful, positive disposition which assists my pupils in reaching their full potential and achieving above and beyond their expectations Before studying for my PGCE, i worked as a teaching assistant in a small 1 form entry village school. This experience was invaluable as i not only understood the inner workings of a primary school but it also helped me to deploy teaching assistants once i graduated as a teacher. I also worked in Sri Lanka for 5 months as part of SL Volunteers teaching English as an Additional Language and volunteering in special needs centres.
