A bit about Jason C

I'm an experienced teacher and examiner of over 30 years, using my classroom and assessment expertise to help you achieve your potential in GCSE and A level examinations. I've been a Head of English, a Head Teacher of a special school, and have taught English throughout my career, with great results. I specialise in GCSE English Language in particular, but also GCSE English Literature and A level English Literature. I am most familiar with AQA, but could support with any exam board requirements. Online lessons would usually begin with a vocabulary-building exercise that relates to the central topic of the lesson, but this can vary depending on what you need. The lesson would focus on a particular exam question, looking at how to read the question, how to structure your answer, and some live assessment. I will model what part of a good answer looks like and ask you to attempt some writing, which we can then look at together with feedback for improvement.
