We can discuss mind maps and areas for discovery. I can simplify the exam board requirements and give you a template for you to work through and tick off. We can just go work that you have already done to how to improve it to a higher grade. I can handhold in a way to show you different techniques. I can assess your work and see what grade you are working at I can help give you ideas of areas to look into or Artist that could be suitable for you. I have 18 years experience of teaching art. 13 years is an A Level moderator where I go into other schools and check that they are the right grades. I understand all of the standards and know what you need to get the highest grades. I have taught all key stages and been a middle manager for art in a private school for 13 years. I love problem-solving. I love having an idea and see where it goes and the creative possibilities. I love seeing my students get the highest grades. Students learn better with a variety of teaching needs. It’s great to be able to just have the time to talk. Also to review the work. I can give written examples and tick sheets which make it easy for the students. I can adapt to what the student needs. I love being able to be creative and help one-to-one. The problem-solving side of helping is great thinking creatively out of the box innovative Ideas. I think it should be Student lead. I like the students to be independent and have their own ideas and help them to achieve. I can work around their goals, and be a facilitator in helping, expand their ideas and skill set. If the student is happy and studying a subject matter that they enjoy, and they want to do, they will succeed. I tend to be very positive and fun. I make students believe in themselves. I offer encouragement and support and I’ll make sure that they do succeed in the grades that they want to get. Year on year, the highest grades of the school. Often the exam board will take my students work for assessment the following year as examples. My Moderation experience, makes sure that I know exactly what the exam board needs. Degree and graphic design. I also part time work on my own design and digital marketing work. Plus photography. I design buildings, wood structures. I have done textiles exhibitions. I have middle, leadership, qualifications. My passion for art, which is my hobby and my life. A life, not being creative. It’s not a fun one to be able to teach my subject, and help students achieve their best is fantastic. I have had exhibitions with textiles. I use my photography skills and graphic design skills in my own work. I adore travelling, I’ve renovated two campervans. I love my dog, I love taking him away Camping. I also love being creative with Food. Pearson and AQA. KS3, GCSE, GCE, degree. As I am a moderator for one exam board, they are standardised and so I understand and easily adapt to what the other exam boards need.
