A bit about Dhiya

Hi, I’m a tutor who specialises in KS3/GCSE Maths, English and Science teaching nationwide. I have over a year of tutoring experience and have a complete DBS checked certificate. I am currently studying nursing at the University of Birmingham, and am further studying both biology and chemistry in degree level. I believe in teaching students with an open and friendly approach. I enjoy maintaining a comforting and positive attitude with my students as that is the best way to gain an understanding of my students needs and learning skills. I specialise in Primary and GCSE Maths, English and Biology/Chemistry. I create PowerPoints of important notes and past paper exam style questions to relay this to my students. I also bring together starter quizzes to complete at the start of every lesson, with quick fire questions at the end to recap on the taught topic. I recommend students to bring me any homework or difficult topics they struggle with as this is the perfect way for me to understand what my students difficulties and strengths are. I started tutoring in 2022.
