A bit about Zayy

I teach 7-17 year olds using the AQA and Edexcel exam boards as they are the most commonly used exam boards in British schools. Regarding 11+ assessments, my specialisation lies in the CEM and GL assessment boards which are used in top grammar schools such as St. Bernard's and King Edward's. These are the institutions I commonly prepare my students for.

Lesson outline can vary depending on the student's needs/ability. Lesson timings: Length =1 hr and 30 minutes (can be longer/shorter if requested) Breakdown: - 15mins= active recall from previous session - 1 hr =learn new content - 15mins= Exam Questions -Lessons involve a mixture of online interactive learning such as educational games and engaging PowerPoint presentations, whilst also involving exam-like questions to encourage independence ( mimicking school examination conditions, students get acquainted with exam pressure, which helps boost their confidence and performance). - Regular assessments will be conducted to track the students' progress and modify the teaching strategy as required.

I am currently an undergraduate at Kings College University studying Religion, Philosophy and Ethics. I have 4 years of experience within the tutoring sector including working within schools and an international tutoring company. Many of my students have been accepted into top grammar schools such as St Bernards and Upton Court Grammar School due to a combination of my teaching styles and their perseverance. My A-Level knowledge in Sociology, Politics and Psychology has further allowed me to successfully teach A-level students, getting them offers from Russel group universities such as UCL and Kings College London.
