A bit about Lee W

I am a fully qualified science teacher and Senior Examiner. I tailor each session to meet the needs of each student to help them reach their full potential. I am patient and friendly and believe learning should be fun and rewarding. Online sessions are available via the Online Classroom. I specialise in all the main exam boards e.g. AQA, OCR, Edexcel, WJEC and BTEC exam boards. I specialise in A Level Biology and Human Biology and GCSE Biology. I take time to understand your specific needs and identify any gaps in your knowledge. Each lessons focuses on a specific topic and we progress at your pace. Each lesson is interactive and consists of teaching and Q&A to develop your deeper understanding. We only progress to the next topic once you are confident to move on. I have been tutoring for over 20 years helping students develop a deeper understanding of their subject and course. I have tutored face to face and online and helped school and college students prepare for their exams and coursework assignments. I first started tutoring in 2003 whilst working as a full time teacher and then continued to tutor students ever since as I really enjoy sharing my passion for science. I have an upper second class degree in physiology from the University of Westminster and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education from the Institute of Education at the University of London. Prior to entering the teaching profession I worked for a number of years as a Forensic Scientist for the Forensic Science Service. I always aim to share the various applications of science through my teaching.
