A bit about Naz

I'm Naz, a First Class Honours Spanish and East Asian Studies graduate of the University of Manchester that can help you to raise your grades and ultimately succeed in your GCSE French and Spanish exams! My most recent student initially came to me with a predicted 5, and within just 3 months of weekly lessons, he achieved a 7 in his GCSE French exam. Having grown up in a multicultural environment in Hong Kong, I have been eager to learn about different cultures and study foreign languages from a young age. I hope that through our lessons, we can explore French and/or Spanish culture too whilst building on your foreign language skills. I will devise a strategic and tailored learning plan for the student through identifying and working on their weaknesses, and building on their strengths. We will particularly focus on grammar, reading comprehension, listening, and essay writing skills, all of which are key skills that are essential to excelling in GCSE exams. I will encourage the student to speak Spanish or French at various points during the lesson as well in preparation for the speaking exam. I specialise in GCSE Spanish & French. I have extensive experience teaching GCSE students, and am very familiar with the latest GCSE syllabus. I started learning French during primary school, and commenced my studies of Spanish in Year 9.
