What exam boards and year groups do you teach?

A highly motivating and patient teacher with 20 Years of teaching experience, teaching Primary School Students and Early Years. I have a Masters in Education and a Nursery Teaching Certificate to help me develop and build on my understanding and skills to teach this age group. It is amazing to see the young learners blossom. Students from KG, Year 1, Year 2, Year 3 and Year 4 are most welcome to contact me.

Tell us a bit about yourself.

Teaching is my passion and with a Masters in Education, I have worked for the last 20 years educating young learners from various Private, International and State schools. My most recent teaching role was at a State School in Slough, teaching Year 4 students and helping them learn all main steam subjects such as English, Math, Social Studies and Science. I am currently educating students from various state schools in Buckinghamshire in my role as a Supply Teacher. Having taught in schools from India, Germany, and England, I have enjoyed the progress that every student of mine has made. The highly diverse and International teaching environment has enabled me to understand the various learning needs and requirements students might have. My students’ progress is my aim and motivation.

What do you specialise in?

I have headed the English, Math and Science departments, looking into and managing all areas where students require the most help. This has enabled me to find the best and the most effective teaching methods for my students to enhance their understanding and to clear all their concepts in a fun filled and easy manner.

What is your teaching style?

It is extremely important for me that my students understand the taught material and feel comfortable implementing it. For this to take place, my lessons are designed in short teaching concepts and then the understanding of the student is checked for it so that there are no learning gaps. This approach of bite size teaching and immediate assessment enables both the learner as well as the teacher to enjoy the lesson or the concept taught.

What are your interests outside of teaching?

I enjoy music, cooking and public speaking.

What inspired you to become a teacher?

Children are our future. Helping them grow and progress is the best we can do. I enjoy working with children and that became my motivation and inspiration to become a teacher.
