A bit about Reece

A highly competent, keen, and ambitious Teacher with experience working as a Subject Lead, Mentor, and Humanities Teacher(11-18 years old), as well as being part of a team in an environment aiming for humanitarian results. In my four years of teaching, I have become resourceful and practical, which adds to my problem-solving skills & willingness to go the extra mile with my students, such as creating various worksheets and tailoring lessons to produce the most outstanding academic and personal development. I specialise in History , Philosophy and Religion due to having a BA in Philosophy. I have 4 years of experience in education, including developing curriculum, mentoring, managing move students and being the subject lead for Philosophy and Religion. I have a QTS and also teach 11-18-year-olds using my PGCE with an emphasis on teaching religion and citizenship. Usually we will begin with a tasks that requires you to show me the knowledge you have such as DO now or REM. Then we would proceed onto me giving subject knowledge whilst working together on skills using worksheets and scaffolding activities which then ends with you showcasing these skills in a learning check activity in the form of an essay or long piece of writing to test your knowledge .After I would set a continued writing task to be given to me next lesson to ensure cognitive load is handled I have been a teacher since 2020 and have thus been tutoring my students for 4 years in a academic setting which can be transferred to helping students be the best them online as a tutor When teaching Humanities I am able to teach students the greatness of society whether that is Historical elements or helping them understand how to critically think and analyse certain philosophers or religious ideas. This skill is transferable to all sunsets and walks of life which I uses to help myself understand humanity . This understanding and enlightenment is my joy of my subject. I am an expert in teaching 11-18 year olds History , Religious Studies and Philosophy using AQA exam board swell as using edexcel exam boards to help you to pass your exams.
